I work in customer service, so I understand that things don't always go as planned. It is how an establishment deals with their mistakes that really shows how good they are , in my humble opinion. We go to Swiss Chalet all the time, the food is always hot and delicious and up to the Swiss Chalet Standard, the service is usually pretty good, quick for sure and the restaurant smells good and is clean. We often order take out from this location, and we have had a few problems, orders not being filled correctly, no gravy for the poutine, little things like that. One time we ordered and they called back 30 minutes later to tell us there was a snow storm and the delivery person went home! Needless to say I complained. I got a personal response from the Manager appologizing for our bad experience and comping us for two 1/4 chicken dinners! WOW, I thought that was just great. I get that mistakes are made, but I have never had anyone take responsibility and compensate me so quickly and politely! Since then we have ordered a few times and we haven't had anymore problems. Hey everybody, I went to Sushi Kaika the other day, had a craving for sushi. The place has really changed, since I last visited. Keep in mind even though my recent review was posted recently, I went there 8 months ago. We got our food very quickly, service was great, unlike before. We have a young son, 2 1/2 now, the waitress was talking to him and engaging him in conversation. This place has the BEST Tzatziki sauce ever, it is SO good. I always get extra servings and put it on everything, because it tastes amazing with all the flavours. My friend and I usually get the same thing and share. Their portions are reasonable sizes for the prices they offer. I love that they come with rice and salad :) The server is also friendly and is always smiling eventhough he is conservative. Their interior reflects warm tones and even the patio is a good place to eat. Try the stuffed eggplant, it is absolutely delicious! This is such a comfy cozy place, and has free wireless internet access. I come here a lot for coffee, serve myself, stand at the counter to pay, and read the paper while I sit right by the window to drink it. I ate there once, but I can't remember what I had. It was expensive. I don't think I'd eat there again because nothing on the menu really appealed to me. Even the baked goods look kind of bland and overpriced. Read more
