This place has the best bang for your dollar. The service is great the food is good. My wife, daughter and I all ate there the other night and had great meals . My daughter and I started with Cheddar and Ale soup ( Very Good) the wife shared ours. My daughter and I had the fish and chips while my wife settled on liver and onions. The fish and chips are fantastic even for someone who is not a big fish eater like my daughter. I had the double order of fish which I could barely eat it was so big. My wife loved the liver and onions, (liver onions is something that has to be cooked just right or it can go seriously wrong) The waitress was great. The menu is not extensive and there was no overall 'theme' but the food we had was pretty good. They recommended a great wine and the waitress was excellent - both friendly and helpful. We booked at the last minute and were glad we did. Not a fine dining experience if that is what you want but a comfortable experience. We split a salad and the entree portions were a good size. My husband had a Thai noodle type dish and he really enjoyed it. I had the prime rib which came as I requested. We didn't have dessert but marvelled at a couple of plates that went by. Read more

I loved everything about this place. I overheard the people beside me where having an amazing dinner and asked if the manager/owner would come out so they could tell him how good the meal was. Without me calling him over, he came over to us and asked how our meal was. He was very polite. The classic Burger was done to perfection. The waitress was extremely polite. Went to Thyme on 21 on a Wednesday night in aug 2010. We didn't have a res but the owner graciously accommodated our party of five. Food and service were world class. Would definitely go there again, it was a memorable evening. A gem in Southwest Ontario. Read more

Tramonto is not perfect, but they do care a lot. We have been there and had to wait for a table and then wait for food, but as far as restaurants in this little town that are really trying to make the town better this one gets a 5. Both the owner/ chef and his staff seem like a bunch of kids really passionate about food and wine and service. On a good night the food is perfect, better than many restaurants I have been to in London or Toronto, on a bad night you will wait an hour, the staff will be charming, and the food will still be great. On top of it, it seems like this is the restaurant here that really tries to be better all the time. Their wine list has gotten quite good, they change their menu seasonally, and they are very involved in the community, doing fashion shows and fundraisers and stuff. They have gotten better, they are still getting better, but don't go there if you only have half an hour. Read more
